Account Information: Name, email address, password (hashed), phone number (optional), avatar, bio, skills, company, location, social links.

Payment Information: For sellers: Bakong account ID. For buyers: name, email, phone (for license delivery). We do not store credit card or bank account details.

Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, device information.

Content: Forum posts, solutions, ideas, comments, chat messages (end-to-end encrypted), and uploaded files.

  • To provide and maintain the Kessor platform
  • To process transactions and deliver license keys
  • To communicate with you about your account, purchases, or platform updates
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and moderate content
  • To improve the platform through anonymous usage analytics
  • To comply with legal obligations under Cambodian law

  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (12 rounds)
  • Chat messages support end-to-end encryption (E2E)
  • All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Database access is restricted to authorized services only
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes

4. Data Sharing / ការចែករំលែកទិន្នន័យ

We may share your information only in these cases:

  • With sellers — Buyer name and email are shared with sellers for license delivery.
  • Legal requirements — When required by Cambodian law, court order, or government request.
  • Platform safety — To prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored on Kessor
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing

6. Cookies / ខូឃី

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Data Retention / ការរក្សាទិន្នន័យ

  • Account data is retained as long as your account is active
  • Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days
  • Transaction records are retained for 5 years (legal requirement)
  • Audit logs are retained for 2 years

8. Children's Privacy / ឯកជនភាពកុមារ

Kessor is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
